Scholarships

Our club is proud to be part of CFUW’s legacy of supporting women in their pursuit of higher education. CFUW North Toronto has offered scholarships, awards and bursaries to female students since 1980. Our members generously support these awards through donations, fundraising events, gifts “In Memoriam” and book sales. 

As all awards are administered through the high school or university, please direct enquiries to the awards office of the appropriate institution. For further information about our program, please contact the Chair of the CFUW North Toronto Scholarship Committee.

High School Awards

An annual scholarship of $1000 is given to a graduating female student intending to pursue post-secondary studies, from each of our five local high schools:

  • Forest Hill CI
  • Lawrence Park CI
  • Marshall McLuhan CSS
  • Northern SS
  • North Toronto CI

An additional Memorial award of $1000 is rotated yearly among the five schools.

I am delighted to be able to use the scholarship provided from the North Toronto Club of the Canadian Federation of University Women to pay for my books during this time, as I have a book heavy course load. Please know that your contribution to my education is greatly valued

Thank you for your incredible generosity and support. I hope to one day pay it forward. This scholarship has given me the opportunity, as well as the motivation, to stay focused on my education and my internship which will ultimately help me achieve my goals and be able to set new ones.
